Gabee celebrates seven decades of effortless style, synonymous with an Australian way of life. Heinz Arnheim who founded Gabee in 1949, named the company after his wife and brought European style to a young Australia. In his Little Collins Street atelier, he designed and crafted leather accessories and formed the foundations of style, innovation & quality that remain intrinsic to our three generation, seventy one year old family business.
Our leather bags, accessories and luggage are designed in Australia with unmatched expertise passed down between generations from the times of our 19th century German textile mill to our current day Melbourne studio. We source the world’s finest ethically produced leathers and materials which are made in socially minded factories to craft unique & fashionable 'bags of difference’.
